CNC Lathe Machinist - 1st shift Job Description As a Machinist III, you will set up and operate CNC Turning machines, including Samsung, Doosan, and Mazak models. You will manage multiple machines simultaneously, read and understand G&M codes, make necessary edits, and ensure precision in machine tool paths. You will perform machine offset adjustments and modify speeds and feeds to optimize performance. You will work from various sources such as process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, machine status boards, and both verbal and written instructions. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Turning machines efficiently. Operate 2-3 machines simultaneously. Read and understand G&M codes, make edits as necessary. Understand and modify machine tool paths, speeds, and feeds. Perform machine offset adjustments. Work from process sheets, blueprints, and setup instructions. Install or re-cut tooling as required. Secure tooling in machine turrets and perform machine setups. Download and upload programs into machines, making minor programming adjustments. Operate computerized numerical controls to manufacture finished products. Inspect own work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy. Inspect work of other machinists as required. Operate multiple machines and rotate through departments. Enter data into ERP system efficiently. Essential Skills 4+ years of CNC Lathe Machining experience. Experience with Samsung, Doosan, or similar lathes. Proficiency in reading and editing G&M codes. Ability to set up machines with minor assistance. Skill in performing machine offsets. Capability to adjust machine speeds and feeds. High School Diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CNC lathe setup and operations. Knowledge in G&M code editing and blueprint reading. Quality inspection skills. Familiarity with Mazak machines. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Twinsburg, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $64480.00/yr.
