CNC Machinist (Level II-Sr) - Akron/Cleveland/Metz/Twinsburg Area 2nd Shift | 4-Day Workweek- Benefits Day 1 Join a global aerospace manufacturer specializing in precision gears, splines, and complex shafts. This is a clean, team-oriented shop (~65 employees) focused on quality and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills Perform multiple setups daily Read blueprints and work to tight tolerances (GD&T) Inspect parts using tools like micrometers Make minor machine adjustments What You Need 2+ years CNC machining experience Setup experience (must be able to explain your process) Blueprint reading & GD&T knowledge Experience with live tooling High school diploma or GED Ability to work 2nd shift (2pm-12:30am, Mon-Thurs) Must be a U.S. Person Nice to Have G & M code programming experience Pay & Benefits $25-$31/hr + $2/hr shift premium (earned during training too) Day 1 benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k match, PTO, tuition assistance) Schedule Train on 1st shift (3-6 months) , then move to 2nd shift 4-day workweek with potential Friday OT Hiring Process Short machinist test (pre-screen) On-site interview + hands-on measurement check #GRP2 Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
