Job Description
CNC Machinist Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machines and a strong understanding of machining processes. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision parts and components while ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. We are looking for someone able to work 2nd shift- 2:30 pm-10:30pm. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce parts according to specifications. Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to machining tasks. Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality control. Familiarity with Mazatrol programming language for CNC machines is preferred. Knowledge of Fanuc controls is advantageous for operating CNC equipment. Understanding of plastics injection molding processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
