NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking an Machinist Apprentice for a family owned and operated company in Eugene and Harrisburg with a long history of providing Irrigation components and products to the agricultural industry.

Qualified applicants will have:

Previous CNC machine operators preferred (mill and lathe) Setting up, running, and adjusting CNC machines (mills, lathes) and manual equipment to produce parts to specifications. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerances to plan manufacturing steps. Using precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part accuracy and detect malfunctions. Mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn new technologies, and ability to follow complex, detailed instructions. An eagerness to learn and great attention to detail as well as ability to follow directions. Able to lift 50 lbs. on a semi-consistent basis. Can bend, stoop, push, pull, and stand for an 8-hour shift.
