1st Shift 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday Job Description Set up and operate various manual machinery for fabricating a wide variety of component parts. Perform advanced setups and adjustments on lathes, mills, and drilling machines,. The role requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and programming. Perform secondary machining operations, inspect parts for dimensions and surface imperfections, and conduct preventative maintenance on machines. Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Set up and operate manual machinery including lathes and mills. Perform advanced setup and adjustments on lathes, mills, and drilling machines. Use touch settings to set tool offsets. Fabricate simple holding fixtures for machining operations. Inspect parts for dimensions and surface imperfections. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machines. Essential Skills Minimum five years of machining experience in manual lathe operations. 6+ years of CNC Lathe set up experience. Broad knowledge of machining techniques and programming. Proficiency in using cutting tools and measuring equipment. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance. Experience with inspection tools like micrometers and calipers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Okuma CNC Lathe ES-L10 is a plus. Familiarity with advanced one-touch IGF-L programming function. CNC programming skills are preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conshohocken, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
