Job Description

Machining company in Ephrata that supports the Aerospace and Defense Industry is looking for Machinists on 1st and 3rd shifts. This is a direct hire opportunity with the company providing competitive pay, great benefits, and tons of growth opportunity!
  • Virtual interviews available ASAP! Multiple openings!
  • 1st shift: 7am
  • 3pm (Monday
  • Friday) 3rd shift: 11pm
  • 7am (Sunday
  • Thursday) Flexible on start time, could start as early as 9pm and work 8 hours.
Lots of OT available on front end of shift. 90 day training period on 1st shift. Open to discussing a modified training schedule if candidate cannot train on 1st.

  • $37/hr Job Description This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC mills or lathes to produce custom, precision components in a low-volume job shop environment.
You will machine parts to exact customer specifications, work from detailed prints, and frequently change tooling and programs as you move between highly customized projects. The position offers structured training, flexible shifts, and the opportunity to grow your technical skills with advanced CNC and CAM technologies. Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts. Read, interpret, and work from various types of customer prints and blueprints. Perform CNC programming using CAM software to support 3
  • 4• and 5-axis milling and live tooling lathes, as applicable.
Conduct frequent changeovers by updating programs and changing tooling for low-volume, custom parts. Verify part dimensions and quality, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances and customer requirements. Troubleshoot machining and programming issues and apply critical thinking to resolve problems efficiently. Essential Skills Proven ability to set up, program, and operate CNC mills or lathes. Ability to read and understand various types of customer prints and blueprints. Mechanical aptitude with strong hands-on machining capability. Experience with CNC setup and changeovers in a job shop or similar environment. Proficiency with CAM software for CNC programming, including experience with 3
  • 4• and 5-axis programming for mills and live tooling for lathes.
Experience with CNC controls such as Mazatrol, Hurco, Fanuc, or Mitsubishi. Comfort working in a low-volume, custom manufacturing setting where parts and setups frequently change. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mastercam programming experience, or experience with comparable CAM software. Experience with live tooling on CNC lathes. Familiarity with Mazak, Hurco, MicroDynamics, and similar CNC machines. Aerospace or defense industry machining experience is a strong plus. Interest in ongoing professional development and advanced CAM programming. Why Work Here?
