Job Description

Full job description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator / Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a range of machining skills—from basic to advanced—with a strong foundation in lathe, mill operations and blueprint reading . This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, program and maintain a variety of machines, including lathes, mills and other equipment. Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders . Measure, inspect, and verify dimensions using precision tools to ensure accuracy and quality. Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve common machining issues. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications Minimum:
Must have at least 1yr experience operating/programming Lathes and Milling machine.
Preferred:
Advanced machining skills (CNC, milling, drilling, grinding). Ability to read blueprints and finish parts to spec. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
OPERATING HOURS
M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Expected hours: 40.0 per week
