Job Description
Job Summary:
CNC Machinists are responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of precision machining equipment to produce components that meet defined quality, safety, and production standards. Focus on developing technical proficiency across multiple machining processes. Perform more advanced setups, achieve tighter tolerances, and support continuous improvement and team development.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor a variety of precision machining equipment including grinding, slicing, drilling, milling, and CNC-based operations. Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish to required tolerances. Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and basic program edits as required. Troubleshoot mechanical, quality, and process-related issues; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve production or quality concerns. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying efficiency, quality, and safety opportunities. Assist with preventive and autonomous maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability. Train, mentor, and support Operators and entry-level Machinists as appropriate to role level. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of machining experience with demonstrated ability to hold tighter tolerances. CNC operation experience preferred; G-code/M-code programming. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and quality documentation. Proficiency using precision measuring tools.Shifts Available:
(1st Shift- 1, Weekend Shift
- 2) 1st Shift
- Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 40 hours Weekend Shift
- Friday through Sunday 6:30 a.
Pay:
$24.00- $28.
