Job Overview Join the Team at Keystone Wood Specialties Keystone Wood Specialties is looking for an Experienced Woodworking Machinist to join our team. We are seeking a highly skilled individual who is detail-oriented, takes pride in precision work, and has the technical expertise to set up and operate advanced woodworking machinery.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with three-day weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and optimize woodworking machinery for accurate, efficient production. Read and interpret shop drawings, and technical diagrams. Use calipers and precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances. Update machine programs and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency. Develop and document standard operating procedures and work instructions. Follow established procedures consistently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues. Types of Equipment you may operate
  • Weinig HSK Moulder & Grinder
  • Shapers
  • Holz -Her Edge bander Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable: Experience operating a moulder Experience in reading drawings and specification sheets Strong attention to detail Shows pride in their work Knowledge of wood specifies is a plus Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and company quality standards.
Qualifications Proven experience as a machinist or woodworking machinist in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of machine setup, programming, and precision operation. Ability to read calipers and other precision measuring equipment accurately. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Reliable, organized, and committed to following procedures and continuous improvement.
