Description About International Designs:
International Designs is the manufacturer and supplier of the EZTube Framing System, a versatile construction system that simplifies frame construction without the need for welding or machining. Since 1987, we have served a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, trade shows, pharmaceuticals, engineering, museums, zoological parks, and automation. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. The Machinist will play a crucial role in our in-house fabrication services, focusing on operating milling machines, drill presses, and saws to produce components using the EZTube Framing System.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate milling machines, drill presses, and saws to fabricate aluminum tubes and other materials. Perform precision machining operations such as cutting, drilling, tapping, and milling. Assist in prototype development and testing processes. Conduct quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role. Proficiency in operating milling machines, drill presses, and saws. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Forklift operation experience is a plus. Must pass drug testing.
