We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Swiss Machinist / Technician for 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm M-F) to support high-volume manufacturing. This role focuses on applying hands-on knowledge of manufacturing methods and problem-solving techniques to support production efficiencies, equipment performance, and related processes. The successful candidate will work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to support safety, quality, and productivity goals. To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to: Operate, troubleshoot, and assist in programming CNC routing machines Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models Support the implementation of process improvements to reduce cycle times, minimize downtime, and improve product quality Participate in cross-functional operations improvement projects as a contributing team member Assist in testing and validating process requirements under the guidance of engineering staff Monitor process performance data and report trends or deviations to engineering or supervision Execute part setups, fixturing, and machining operations; follow established order of operations, tool selection, and speed/feed parameters Assist with work holding setup and implementation Follow and maintain part routings, manufacturing instructions, and production documentation Provide hands-on technical support for daily production activities Other duties as assigned Skills and experience to thrive in this role: 3+ years of technical CNC machine operation or programming experience in a manufacturing environment Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field such as Machining Technology, Manufacturing, or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus Ability to work effectively within a team environment Basic ability to read electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic schematics is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and documentation HARTING Americas is a subsidiary of HARTING Technology Group, a German-based global leader in industrial connectivity solutions.
