Temp-to-PermWe are currently hiring a CNC Technician for a manufacturing environment in East Providence, RI. We are open to candidates ranging from entry-level CNC technicians to experienced machinists/programmers . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their machining skills and potentially transition into a permanent position. Attendance, reliability, and a strong work ethic are very important for this position.

What You'll Do:

Inspect CNC-machined parts for burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections Deburr and finish parts using hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, tumblers, and other equipment Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions Use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers Maintain accurate records and report quality issues Safely handle and protect finished parts Keep the work area clean and organized Work alongside CNC operators and Quality Control to resolve issues Follow all safety procedures and company policies Operate multiple CNC machines and manual equipment as needed Take direction from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Manufacturing or machining experience preferred Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Basic knowledge of measurement tools preferred CNC milling and/or CNC lathe experience is a plus Trade school or machining apprenticeship is a plus Programming experience is a plus and may qualify candidates for Level II Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions Dependable attendance and reliability are required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching Ability to safely handle materials and equipment Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. Comfortable working in a moderate-to-loud manufacturing environment

Shift & Breaks:

Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM 30-minute unpaid lunch Two paid 15-minute breaks PPE is provided. Candidates are required to wear closed-toe shoes. This position is temp-to-perm , with the opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance, attendance, and overall fit. #CNX200

$22.00

•$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
