Position Overview:
As a CNC Machinist on our second shift, you'll play a vital role in our manufacturing process by setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery. Your precision and attention to detail will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards while adhering to production schedules.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machinery according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition. Inspect finished products for quality and precision, making necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot issues with machinery and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe work environment. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
