The ideal candidate will have background crankshaft grinding and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments. This role involves operating various types of machinery, ensuring quality control, and contributing to the assembly of components. The Machinist will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of production and efficiency. Responsibilities Operate and maintain crank shaft grinding machines and other machining equipment to produce precision parts. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy. Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve production methods. Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus. Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are advantageous.
