We are recently part of the KB Components global company based out of Sweden. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Texas team! The CNC Machinist position will operate a variety of CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components. This position is on 1st shift and is Monday-Thursday
  • 6:00am
  • 2:30pm & Friday's 6:00am-12:00am.
In this role you will need cut graphite skills and to run sinker EDM, you will operate and set up CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision metal components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure the highest quality standards are met while maintaining efficient manufacturing processes. Qualifications:
  • Able to read standard measuring instruments, dial/digital calipers, micrometer.
  • Able to change parts in existing setup with
  • ,001 accuracy.
  • Able to perform simple setups, set fixture offset, modify tool offsets.
  • Able to read g-code header to select tools and assure correct part and offset are being used.
  • Able to load tools in machine and set length/diameter offsets.
  • Able to read/edit g-code for setups including determining tools to load.
  • Able to adhere to ISO standards.
  • Able to adhere to 5S principals.
  • Must have 3+ years machining experience.
In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has a strong work ethic. The ability to troubleshoot issues, work independently, and collaborate with team members is also important.
Duties:
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine attachments
  • Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cut
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality
Skills:
Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of power tools
  • Experience with welding processes is a plus
  • Familiarity with Mazatrol programming language is preferred
  • Solid understanding of machining principles and techniques
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and conversions
  • Knowledge of tooling selection and maintenance
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components.
