Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC milling, and turning machines, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to quality and safely. Duties Operate CNC machines such as CNC lathes, milling machines, programming tools to produce precision parts Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate manufacturing Perform quality control using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment within the warehouse or factory environment Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues related to CNC programming or mechanical operations Assist in assembly line operations and packaging of finished products as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols Requirements Strong understanding of blueprint reading, and mechanical drawing interpretation Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for quality assurance Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), tooling setup, materials handling, and basic math skills for machining calculations Warehouse experience or familiarity with factory safety protocols is preferred Mechanical aptitude with welding skills is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Ideal Candidate
