Key Responsibilities:
Machinists are
REQUIRED
to perform all set up procedures and load programs, 1st piece inspections and run production loads on CNC equipment Must be able to determine tooling, design and build fixtures, perform setups; load and set tool offsets, set and modify work offsets Use of measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators, calibration, and proper maintenance of equipment Ability to set up and operate a variety of machines applying knowledge of mechanics and shop mathematics Collaborate and support production and quality departments on assigned daily activities Responsible for maintaining documentation and trace ability Monitor and maintain quality of production work Strong knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining procedures Competent in applying common sense understanding to carry out details (written and oral) instructions Must be able to work with minimum supervision and meet quality and on-time delivery requirements.
Requirements Basic Qualification:
3-5 years CNC Lathe or Mill Machine/Operator experience preferred Experience running multi-axis machines G-Code and M-Code Programming a MUST and ability to read and edit programs for a variety of CNC Lathes Interpret blueprints or product drawings, and specification sheets Must be able to read, write and comprehend English written technical documentation Experience with Aircraft parts preferred Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Self-starter, detail oriented, team player, logical, reliable, and loyal Job Type Full-Time Hourly Weekly day range: Monday to Thursday, 4-day 10-hour shifts, OT available on selected Fridays 1st shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM with breaks Work setting: Warehouse - cooled and heated
