CNC Machinist Technician (Temp to Hire)

Shift Timing:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
Pay:
$32.00 - $35.00/hour on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to perform complex machining, prototype development, and machine shop operations. The role involves working with manual and CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, and supporting process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC and manual machines (mills & lathes) Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Perform complex machining and troubleshoot issues Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) Support tooling design and process improvements Maintain equipment and ensure quality and safety standards
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 7+ years of machining experience Experience with CNC setup and programming (EDGE CAM preferred) Strong knowledge of shop math, blueprint reading, and inspection tools Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Additional:
Experience with lean manufacturing is a plus Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a shop environment #
