Fort Worth, TX Salary:
$25/hour Manual / CNC Machinist (Setup + Print Reading) - $25/hr - Fort Worth A manufacturing company in Fort Worth is seeking a hands-on machinist to join their 1st shift team. This is a small shop environment where you will be working directly with parts-not just operating machines. We are NOT looking for a trainee. We need someone who can read a print and turn it into a finished part with minimal supervision.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Pay:
Up to $25/hour (based on experience)
Job Type:
Full-time Responsibilities:
Operate manual mills, lathes, and grinders Perform setups, edge finding, and basic tool selection Read blueprints and hold tight tolerances Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Support shop operations around CNC machines (no programming required) Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
2-5 years of real shop experience (not just schooling or training programs) Ability to read prints and work independently Experience setting up jobs and selecting tooling Familiarity with manual machines (Bridgeport, engine lathe, etc.) Reliable attendance and strong work ethic How to
