$25-$35/hour Job Summary This is an hourly based position and will report directly to the Production Manager. This position may require extensive hours and will also require you to be available in Hutto, Texas during scheduled hours. Duties and Essential Job Functions ➢ Ensure that the shop floor and fellow employees run efficiently and safely to get jobs out in a timely manner. ➢ Identify all needs on the floor to supervisor in order to take care of any all issues. ➢ Manage any and all jobs that are run through the production process in your designated area. ➢ Notice the need for a new process and suggest improvement. ➢ Meet or succeed any production goals set forth by management. ➢ Oversee the maintenance schedule set forth by management. ➢ Notice the need for employee training needs and oversee the process. ➢ Make sure your team and yourself follow all safety policies set forth by the shop. Other duties and responsibilities ➢ Improve your knowledge of machining through training and on the job training. ➢ Review machine schedule and request special tooling for the jobs. ➢ Complete all paperwork related the job and machine. ➢ Maintain serialization on product at all times. ➢ Maintain a neat and clean working area at all times. ➢ Follow all API/ISO procedures that are presented to the floor. ➢ Maintain a high standard of quality in all jobs and employees. ➢ Suggest alternative production methods to improve the shop floor.
