About Bilco Corporation:
Bilco Corporation has been in business since 1955 and is the largest independent brick manufacturer in Texas with an annual production capacity of more than one hundred million bricks. Bilco is a producer of king-size and modular brick for the commercial and residential industry.
Job Description:
CNC Machinist/Fabricator Machines parts according to specifications for assemblies as well as build/repair parts using a CNC mill. Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings. Experience operating CNC mills and lathes. Completes all necessary paperwork related to jobs given. Maintains a safe working environment. Must have machinist tools/equipment to perform his/her job. Be able to drive a forklift (a plus) Be able to weld (a plus) Must be a punctual individual
Key Responsibilities:
Program, Set-up and Operate:
Manage CNC vertical/horizontal mills and manual CNC laths. Set-up work holding fixtures, tooling, and machine parameters for unique, non-repetitive jobs. Ability to disassemble/reassemble the mill. Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to select appropriate speeds, feeds, and tooling. Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes: perform first-piece inspection using calipers and micrometers. Troubleshoot issues and optimize programs for efficiency; deburr and finish components as needed. Work directly with engineers and designers to meet specific project goals. Understanding of Math X & Y Axis. High proficiency in CNC programming (essential for custom workflows).
Work Experience:
Must have experience in a heavy machining environment Must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience operating a CNC mill (Fryer mill experience is a plus). Must be proficient in setup and operation of CNC mill machines. Use of hand-tools common to trade. Basic knowledge of weights, measures, and metric conversions. Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, geometry, trigonometry). Good verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation and hours to work:
$35
  • 40 hourly 6:00am
  • 2:30pm Monday through Friday, Overtime may apply as needed.
