Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain a variety of precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in Manual machining, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring manufacturing excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery, including Manual \ CNC lathes, milling and, drilling machines, while contributing to innovative production processes. Duties Operate manual machines such as lathes and milling machines, ensuring accurate production according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise components. Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions. Set up tooling, fixtures, and tooling adjustments for optimal machining performance; perform routine maintenance on machinery. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for assembly or finishing tasks. Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste throughout the machining process. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials when necessary. Experience Proven experience as a Machinist working with milling machines, Drills and lathes . Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings to ensure precise manufacturing. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, . Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling setup, maintenance procedures, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of safety procedures related to machining operations including welding, power tools usage, and forklift operation is preferred. Prior experience working within lean manufacturing environments or continuous improvement initiatives is advantageous.
