Shift Payrate:

$25.00/hr Mabank, Tx Monday- Thursday Friday's depending on production needs 2pm-12am We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team, specializing in stretch forming, machining, and fabrication for industries such as Aerospace and Architectural. The successful candidate will program, set up, and operate CNC 3-Axis Machining Centers to produce high-quality metal components, ensuring precision, efficiency, and a safe, organized work environment. Key Responsibilities

•

Machine Operation :

Set up, operate, and assist in programming CNC 3-Axis Machining Centers to perform operations like facing, turning, boring, threading, drilling, reaming, broaching, and knurling to meet precise specifications.

•

Setup and Programming :

Review setup sheets and specifications to determine program sequences, setup operations, and workpiece dimensions, adjusting programs and tooling as needed to achieve specifications.

•

Tool Management :

Insert and position cutting tools and tool holders on the turret for optimal performance.

•

Quality Control :

Verify machined workpieces against blueprints or engineering drawings using inspection tools and gauges to ensure specification adherence.

•

Material Handling :

Load bar stock or tubing into feeder tubes to maintain continuous production.

•

Secondary Operations :

Operate additional machines for secondary operations when time allows to maximize productivity.

•

Workflow Optimization :

Assist management in scheduling workloads to enhance operational efficiency.

•

Training and Mentorship :

Train team members on setup procedures and quality production standards to ensure consistency.

•

Documentation :

Complete production paperwork, inspection procedures, and maintain accurate production logs, reporting discrepancies to supervisors.

•

Maintenance and Safety :

Perform daily maintenance on equipment, tools, and gauges, keep the work area clean and safe, and comply with company policies, emphasizing safety regulations. Qualifications

•

Technical Skills :

Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals. Familiarity with manufacturing, database, and CNC software.

•

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to calculate dimensions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.

•

Communication :

Strong written and verbal communication skills for writing reports, correspondence, and presenting to groups.

•

Problem-Solving :

Capable of addressing practical problems and interpreting diverse instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.

•

Experience :

High school diploma or GED with 5-10 years of related CNC machining experience or equivalent combination of education and training.

•

Physical Requirements :

Ability to work in a loud environment with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
