Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint reading, and tooling will be essential in delivering high-quality products efficiently. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines to produce parts according to detailed specifications. Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize machining processes. Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production. Conduct quality inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other measurement tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for different machining tasks, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Troubleshoot machining issues promptly, adjusting parameters or tooling as needed to maintain efficiency and quality. Maintain detailed documentation of machine setups, production runs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code. Proficiency with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for interpreting schematics and creating part models. Familiarity with CAM programming tools for generating machine instructions from CAD files. Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for precise quality control inspections. Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and machining best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
