We primarily repair and manufacture parts for paper and plastics manufacturers. We serve the entire DFW area as well with any machining needs.
Duties:
Set up and operate manual or CNC machines such as lathes and mills Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Use precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers and micrometers to ensure tolerances are maintained Assemble components and perform basic troubleshooting as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Notify supervisor of part progress and hold ups Notify supervisor of faulty equipment or defective materials
Requirements:
Must pass shop exam Minimum 5 years related work experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Skilled in using hand tools, power tools and fixtures Assemble components and perform basic troubleshooting as necessary Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to bend, kneel and stand for up to 8 hours every day Ability to work independently
