This company specializes in repairing and manufacturing precision parts for the paper and plastics industries and serves customers across the DFW area. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a job shop environment, where the bulk of work consists of one-off, custom jobs rather than repetitive production. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you will work on a variety of machines and projects. Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30

PM Overtime Available:

o Offered based on production needs o Typically 1 hour before or after shift Key Responsibilities Set up and operate manual machines, including: o Vertical lathes o Horizontal lathes o Milling machines Work on medium to large parts (5"-40" diameter) Read and interpret: o Blueprints o Engineering drawings o Technical specifications Perform precision measurements using: o Calipers o Micrometers o Bore gauges Assemble components and perform basic troubleshooting Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate progress, delays, and issues to supervisors Identify faulty equipment or defective materials Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of machining experience required Big machine experience required Must have your own tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience using hand tools, power tools, and machining fixtures Basic math skills required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must pass a shop skills exam Preferred Qualifications Experience in job shop environments Familiarity with large-part machining and repair Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
