CNC Machinist Everforth CyberCoders - 3.9 Pflugerville, TX Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Benefits Profit sharing Paid holidays Health insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description CNC Machinist CNC Machinist Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to produce complex, high-precision parts. The role supports product development and production for tight-tolerance components particularly in the medical device sector delivering parts that meet GD&T requirements and regulatory documentation standards. The ideal candidate combines hands-on machining expertise with CAM/G-code knowledge and a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and multi-axis machines to manufacture complex parts to print Translate engineering drawings and CAD/CAM files into reliable G-code programs using CAM software; optimize programs for cycle time and surface finish Execute first-article setups, run serial production, and perform in-process adjustments to maintain part accuracy and throughput Interpret and apply GD&T callouts, inspect critical dimensions using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other metrology tools, and document inspection results Collaborate with design and product development teams to prototype and refine part geometry, tooling, and processes Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, chatter, fixturing, and program logic; implement corrective actions and preventative measures Maintain machine tools, fixtures, and tooling; perform routine preventive maintenance and report any equipment issues Follow medical device manufacturing requirements and quality procedures, including documentation, traceability, and adherence to cleanroom or controlled-environment protocols when required Contribute to continuous improvement efforts: suggest and implement process improvements, tooling upgrades, and setup efficiencies Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience operating CNC mills and lathes; experience with multi-axis (3+2 or 5-axis) machines strongly preferred Proven ability to program and edit G-code and work with CAM systems (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM or similar) Working knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances Experience producing complex parts and supporting product development from prototype to production Familiarity with medical device manufacturing practices and quality systems (ISO 13485, FDA QSR) is highly desirable Proficient with measurement and inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and CMM operation or setup Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail with a commitment to part quality and repeatability Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, quality, and production teams High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or machining certificate preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., NIMS) a plus Benefits Fully paid health insurance Profit-sharing Paid Vacation Holidays 401K Match For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
