We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join a busy production team in Richardson, TX. This position is ideal for someone with CNC machining experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing quality parts. The role offers exposure to CNC milling operations, troubleshooting, machine setup activities, and opportunities for long-term growth.What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines for production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Install tooling, fixtures, and materials required for each job
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine adjustments
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to verify quality standards
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues to minimize downtime
- Document setup information, tooling changes, and inspection results
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet production goals
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
- Experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Understanding of machine offsets, tooling, and machining processes
- Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC controls is a plus
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Haas controls preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments is beneficial What's in it for
