Delta Centrifugal, 3402 Center Street, Temple, TX 76503, seeks to hire full-time workers for the positions of CNC and Manual Machinists. Machinist will set up and operate machines, including 4 Axis Computer Numerical Code ("CNC") Lathes and CNC Mills to produce precision parts, consistently holding +/- .001 tolerances. S/he will be responsible for shop mathematics, measuring equipment (including micrometers & calipers), layout, and machining procedures. Each machinist will interpret part drawings using geometric tolerances, edit machine codes, and calculate surface footage and feeds for all material grades, using tool geometry and depth of cut limits. Knowledge and experience on CNC or manual machines & measuring tools is a plus. On the job training programs are available.
