Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Machinist for a manufacturing company in Wichita Falls, TX! The work schedule is Friday-Sunday 5am-5pm. Pay ranges from $20-27/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain dimensional quality on all parts by repeated inspection throughout the machining process 2. Read and interpret blueprints 3. Use basic measuring instruments such as: micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators 4. Verify that all instruments used have been calibrated 5. Perform pre and final machining on parts in accordance with written and verbal instructions 6. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment 7. Ensure all environment, health, and safety rules, requirements, and procedures are adhered to 8. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner Working hours: 5:00 AM

Qualifications:
  • MUST be able to set up and operate one or more of the following: lathes, mills, grinders, and other manual/ CNC machinery

  • Must be able to read interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Ability to read and use basic measuring instruments
  • Must submit to a background check
