Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a Level 2 Machinist to support daily production through safe machine operation, quality workmanship, and basic CNC and manual setups. This position is ideal for machinists with hands‑on experience who are ready to expand their skills and work toward advancement to a higher level. Summary Operate equipment independently, perform routine machine operations and adjustments, and ensure part quality. Key Responsibilities Perform standard machine operations and tool changes. Adjust offsets to achieve dimensional specifications. Verify tooling and fixture conditions before operation. Inspect parts and document inspection results. Identify and resolve basic machining issues. Contribute to process improvement and waste reduction initiatives. Assist in machine setup procedures. Required Skills Proficient in reading blueprints. Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Basic knowledge of machine setup processes. Knowledge of tool offsets and adjustments. Strong inspection and measurement abilities. Demonstrated production efficiency. Basic ability to read and interpret machine programs. Experience 3+ years of machining experience. Demonstrated ability to operate CNC machines at a basic level.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
