Position Summary The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety. This position also requires consistent punctuality and reliable attendance. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture parts per drawings and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions Select tooling, fixtures, and offsets as required Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency Meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality workmanship Required Qualifications Experience with setup and operating CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with precision measuring tools Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications CNC programming experience Familiarity with
GD&T CAD/CAM
