>>Initial training will be conducted on 1st Shift (7am-3pm). >>Overtime and weekend work will be required when production demands require it. We're looking for a highly skilled Machinist with experience in precision, multi‑axis, or Swiss‑style machining to support high‑accuracy production on Tornos equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem‑solving, fine‑tuning machine performance, and working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where quality and consistency matter. What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate precision machining equipment to produce components to exact specifications
  • Adjust tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface quality
  • Interpret SPC data and use statistical trends to improve process capability
  • Program or modify machine parameters to optimize cycle times and part quality
  • Perform routine machine care, lubrication, and basic maintenance to ensure reliable operation
  • Conduct light tool work, including sharpening, grinding, and minor tool corrections
  • Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges) to verify part conformity
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work area
  • Accurately identify, weigh, label, and document production work for traceability and workflow efficiency
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed. What You Bring
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with precision machining or CNC/Swiss‑type equipment
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools and the ability to hold tight tolerances
  • Experience with CNC controls or machine programming preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and make effective adjustments
  • Must own essential hand tools required for machining work
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs independently and maneuver heavier loads with assistance You'll play a key part in producing high‑precision components that directly impact product performance and customer satisfaction.
