Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC lathes to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining, blueprint reading, and technical troubleshooting will be essential in ensuring efficient production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to high-quality manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate CNC lathe/milling machines, primarily Fanuc-controlled, to produce precision parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications Set up machines by installing tooling, calibrating equipment, and verifying machine parameters using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to ensure accurate machining Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime Use hand tools, power tools, and tooling to assist in setup, adjustments, and assembly tasks as needed Requirements Proven experience operating CNC lathes and mills, especially Fanuc-controlled machines, with a strong understanding of CNC programming and setup procedures Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical drawings Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurement and machine setup purposes Mechanical aptitude with experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for precise measurements Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, tooling management, and quality control standards Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team Commitment to safety protocols and continuous improvement practices Join us if you're passionate about precision machining and eager to contribute your technical expertise in a vibrant manufacturing environment.
