Job Description
Field Machinist (Temporary Contract) Overview We are seeking an experienced Field Machinist to perform pipe cutting, beveling, and pipe preparation using Wachs split-frame machining equipment. This is a temporary project running August through November. Candidates must be able to pass a background check. Nuclear power plant experience is preferred, but not required. We offer competitive pay, per diem, and travel pay. Responsibilities Set up and operate Wachs split-frame pipe cutting and beveling machines. Perform pipe cutting, beveling, and preparation to required specifications. Inspect equipment and maintain a safe, clean work area. Follow all site safety procedures and quality standards. Work efficiently with minimal supervision. Travel to the job site as required. Qualifications Experience operating Wachs split-frame pipe machining equipment preferred. Previous field machining or industrial pipe fabrication experience. Ability to pass a background check. Nuclear plant experience is a plus. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
