AM Position Summary:
TST Fab & Machine, LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, programming (if applicable), and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis and/or 4-axis preferred) Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for materials and job requirements Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain tight tolerances Deburr, finish, and inspect completed parts to meet quality standards Maintain accurate production and inspection records Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Collaborate with programmers, supervisors, and quality personnel Follow all company safety standards and S.A.G.A. core valuesQualifications:
3+ years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC machine operations Experience with setup and editing programs (programming experience a plus) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Experience holding tight tolerances (+•.001 or better) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) Experience working with a variety of materials (steel, aluminum, stainless, etc.) Previous experience in a fabrication or job shop environment Knowledge of lean manufacturing practicesPhysical Requirements:
