About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Metal Fabricator to join our high-precision workshop, where you will play a vital role in crafting custom components for specialized marine vessels. You will leverage your expertise in machining and fabrication to ensure every part meets our rigorous standards for quality and durability. Responsibilities Program and operate machinery to produce high-precision parts using aluminum, stainless steel, UHMW, and bronze. Execute custom fabrication projects, ensuring all components align with complex design specifications. Utilize aluminum TIG welding techniques to assemble and refine small, specialized metal parts. Maintain a highly organized and efficient workspace to support consistent output and project timelines. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot design challenges and optimize part production. Perform rigorous quality inspections to uphold our reputation for superior craftsmanship. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in precision machining and metal fabrication. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics. Strong technical aptitude with various metals including aluminum and stainless steel. Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to maintaining high attendance standards. Preferred Skills Advanced experience with aluminum TIG welding processes. Familiarity with working with non-metallic materials like UHMW. Experience in a custom-build or low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment. A proactive, solution-oriented approach to complex fabrication tasks.
