Job Description
Machinist (CNC + Manual) - Precision Manufacturing Build parts that matter. Use the machines that make it possible. We're looking for a machinist who understands both the art and science of machining — someone who can move comfortably between CNC equipment and manual machines, and takes pride in doing things the right way. What You'll Do Run and Set Up Equipment Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (Haas experience a plus) Work with manual machines including mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and more Perform first-run inspections and adjust as needed to hit tight tolerances Machine with Precision Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions Use precision measuring tools and gauges to verify part accuracy Apply shop math, geometry, and trigonometry to your work Program & Troubleshoot Make program edits at the machine and assist with programming when needed. Set tool offsets, adjust speeds/feeds, and optimize machining processes Identify issues, troubleshoot, and keep production moving Build, Modify, Improve Fabricate and shape parts from metal, plastics, and composites Recommend process improvements and support continuous improvement efforts Assist with tooling, fixtures, and process capability improvements Own Quality & Safety Ensure all parts meet specifications and quality standards (ISO/AS9100) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment What We're Looking For Experience with both CNC machining and manual machining equipment Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding Solid math skills (geometry, trigonometry) Experience with tooling, fixtures, and setup processes Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team
