Job Description
CNC Lathe Machinist Overview We are hiring experienced CNC Lathe Machinists to support precision manufacturing operations in a fast-paced aerospace production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for machinists who enjoy working with advanced equipment, tight-tolerance components, and a condensed weekend work schedule. Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathe equipment, including Mori and multi-spindle machines. Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and machining specifications to produce quality parts. Work with Siemens-controlled machines to perform complex machining operations. Troubleshoot machine performance issues and assist with routine equipment upkeep. Verify dimensional accuracy using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments. Maintain quality standards while meeting production and safety requirements. Required Qualifications Previous experience setting up and operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of GD&T principles and dimensional inspection techniques. Familiarity with Siemens controls and Mori machining equipment. Working understanding of CNC programming concepts, including G-code and M-code functions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Preferred Skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a production setting. Experience working on aerospace, precision-machined, or close-tolerance components is a plus. What We Offer Opportunity to work with cutting-edge machining technology within the aerospace industry. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tukwila, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
