G-code Programming Milling machines Cutting machines Manufacturing Custom fixtures Full Job Description CNC Machinist•Technical Glass Products•Snoqualmie, WA The CNC Machinist is responsible for set-up and machining of production, prototype and R D parts and fixtures. Materials include carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. This position works cross-functionally to ensure on-time and quality delivery. As the machinist, this position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Schedule:
Monday•Thursday 5:00 AM•3:30 PM, overtime as needed
What You Will Do:
Machine precision parts for production and R D utilizing variety of machine tools Measure and document cost of producing parts relative to time and materials Inspect own work and others using precision tools, comparators, etc. Maintain equipment and perform set up of machines; operate CNC machining & cutting equipment Assist in the design of tooling and fixtures and collaborate with programming team. Perform work in accordance with Quality Assurance Program policies and adhere to company safety policies. Work across multiple shifts when required Other duties as assigned What You Need to
Succeed:
At least 5+ years CNC machinist experience, preferably with 3 and 5 axis machines, including ability to program, setup and operate machine tools; CNC milling machine, CNC cutting, as well as conventional machines Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology, 2-year degree in Machine Technology or equivalent training preferred. Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, G-code Experience developing tools and fixtures Ability to work unsupervised Knowledge of machining high tolerance parts Ability to read and interpret drawings Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong math skills, analytical, and customer service skills. Haas VF10 experience preferred Experience manufacturing to
ISO 9000
standards preferred
Physical Demands:
Manual Dexterity:
Ability to handle parts and tools with precision.
Repetitive Motion:
Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands.
Standing Duration:
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
Lifting Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Lift Assist Devices:
Use of overhead crane and forklift with training may be required.
Environmental Exposure:
Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Respirator, fall protection, welding hood, etc. may be required depending on job duty and/or work area What You'll Get from

Compensation:
This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experiences. The expected
Base Hourly Range:
$30•$32. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Pay:
$30.00•$32.00 per hour
