Our Client, a leading manufacturing company in Spokane Valley, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. Compensation for the CNC Machinist
  • $22 - $28 Per hour DOE
  • Monday - Friday
  • Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, Vacation, Holidays, Tuition Reimbursement, and 401K. Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist
  • Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines.
  • Perform machine setups for production and prototype work.
  • Create and modify basic CNC programs.
  • Make machine edits and adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, models, and technical specifications, including complex geometries.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Manufacture and sharpen cutting tools.
  • Operate standard tool room equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements for the CNC Machinist
  • Associate degree in Machining Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field; or
  • Three (3) years of machining or tool room experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, technical documents, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Ability to calculate dimensions, percentages, areas, circumferences, and volumes.
  • Understanding of basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve machining-related problems.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
  • Knowledge of CNC codes, machine setup procedures, and fabrication safety practices.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to load, interpret, and modify CNC programs.
