Job Description
Machinist - Precision Manufacturing / Aerospace Step into a hands-on role where precision meets innovation. As a Machinist , you'll be at the heart of advanced manufacturing—transforming raw materials into high-performance components used in cutting-edge aerospace and mechanical systems. If you thrive on accuracy, problem-solving, and working with state-of-the-art equipment, this is where your skills make an impact. What You'll Do Bring designs to life by machining precision parts using lathes, mills, grinders, and other advanced equipment Interpret blueprints and engineering specs to plan setups and machining sequences with confidence Set up and run manual & CNC machines (Okuma, Fanuc) while ensuring tight tolerances are achieved Measure, inspect, and verify quality using precision instruments and quality control processes Perform calculations for feeds, speeds, tooling, and dimensions to optimize performance Assemble and fit components into high-precision mechanical systems Support prototype and R D work , helping bring new ideas from concept to reality Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste Maintain top performance by maximizing spindle utilization and machine uptime Collaborate with operations and quality teams to continuously improve processes What You Bring High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of machining experience Experience with multi-channel or multi-spindle lathes (or strong aptitude to learn) Hands-on knowledge of CNC machines, setups, and tool changes Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T Strong math skills and attention to detail Familiarity with Okuma and Fanuc controls Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies Bonus Points If You Have CNC programming or editing experience (G-code / M-code) Aerospace machining Vocational training or machining certification Experience with mills, lathes, drill presses, or fabrication work Exposure to machine maintenance or repair Cross-training across multiple machines and processes Why You'll Love It Here Quarterly performance bonuses 80 hours

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
