Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Lake Mills, WI | Friday-Sunday | $24-$39/hour + $5/hour Weekend Shift Differential An established precision manufacturer is seeking an experienced Advanced CNC Mill Machinist to join its weekend team. This is a hands-on role for a machinist who can independently set up, prove out, edit, and operate CNC milling equipment while producing complex precision components to tight quality standards. This is a great fit for someone who understands more than how to run the machine- you know tooling, speeds and feeds, GD&T, inspection, and how to troubleshoot when a setup or part isn't behaving the way it should.
Advanced CNC Mill Machinist Benefits & Compensation:

Advanced CNC Mill Machinist Requirements & Qualifications:
Strong CNC mill machining experience; 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred Ability to independently set up, prove out, edit, and operate CNC mills Strong blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge Ability to read, interpret, and edit CNC machine code as necessary Strong understanding of cutting tools, including tool grades, types, and applications Ability to calculate and adjust speeds and feeds based on machining conditions Experience using precision inspection equipment to verify part dimensions Valid driver's license required
Must Haves:
Independently perform CNC mill setups and prove-outs Make tooling, offset, work coordinate, speed, and feed adjustments Troubleshoot machining, tooling, dimensional, and quality issues during production Edit CNC machine code at the machine as necessary Select appropriate cutting tools based on material and machining requirements Inspect precision components using traditional measuring tools and other inspection equipment Accurately complete in-process quality, scrap, production, and ERP documentation
Advanced CNC Mill Machinist Preferred Background & Skills:
5+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent technical training and hands-on experience Experience with vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, and/or multi-axis CNC mills Experience with CMM, surface measurement, or optical inspection equipment Familiarity with JobBOSS or similar ERP systems Experience working within ISO quality standards Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience contributing to machining process or continuous improvement initiatives If you're an experienced CNC mill machinist who can take ownership of a setup, troubleshoot problems, and consistently produce quality precision parts, this is an opportunity to put those skills to work while enjoying a three-day workweek and four days off .
