Monday-Friday, 1 st shift 6 am-2:30 pm or 2 nd shift 2 pm to Midnight Milwaukee, WI Temporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stability Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description As a CNC Lathe, CNC Milling Set-up Machinist, you'll play a vital role in supporting production goals and machining high-precision parts. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented machinist with experience in both CNC turning and CNC milling and setting up the equipment.
Responsibilities:
Set up CNC lathes and milling machines to produce parts and components. Machine a variety of materials to close tolerances per blueprint specifications Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 2-5 years CNC Set-up CNC Mills, and CNC lathes Ability to read and understand blueprints, micrometers, and a ruler to produce parts. Be familiar with different alloy materials and the tooling, speeds and feeds required for machining the different alloys Possess the math skills to calculate angles, bolt circles and any other equations required to accomplish machining tasks Have own tools that accommodate set up, deburring, tool changing, and measuring for all phases of operation.
