What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC lathes and related machining equipment to produce precision parts Read and interpret blueprints to understand materials, tooling, and machining requirements Load raw materials securely and prepare machines for safe, efficient operation Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine settings to maintain accuracy and quality Monitor machines during operation and identify issues such as tool wear or improper settings Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools Troubleshoot and resolve basic machining issues to reduce scrap and downtime Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and improvements What You Bring Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2+ years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Basic computer and math skills for machining operations and tolerances Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Problem-solving skills to identify and correct machining issues Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Preferred Experience Experience running multiple CNC machines or working with different machine types Experience in general machining or production environments Familiarity with fixtures, tooling, and workholding devices Willingness to learn new programs, tooling, and processes Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills Why Join Us Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities to increase earnings Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and holidays for work-life balance Retirement plan with company match On-the-job training and clear opportunities for advancement A stable company that invests in your growth and long-term success Work Environment & Schedule This position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing facility with CNC equipment and related machinery.
Shift Options:
First Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (with optional Friday work)
Second Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (with optional Friday work) You will spend most of your shift on your feet, working directly with machines, tools, and materials.
