In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines such as lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will ensure that parts meet strict specifications, leveraging your mechanical knowledge and proficiency with advanced tooling and measurement instruments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to manufacturing excellence. Duties Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, primarily using Fanuc controls, to produce complex parts according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Program CNC machines utilizing CNC programming languages and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize machining processes. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to ensure precise manufacturing. Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools for assembly or repairs as needed. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying efficiencies in machining processes and reducing waste. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes with familiarity in Fanuc controls.
