Responsibilities:

Operate Production Machinery:

Set up, run, and monitor continuous roll-forming mills, cut-off presses, and automated metal-shaping equipment.

Material Loading & Handling:

Safely load, position, and feed coiled sheet metal into the mill, and assist with unloading and staging finished parts.

Monitor & Adjust Operations:

Track machine performance during runs, make basic alignment or speed adjustments, and pause operations immediately if defects or safety hazards arise.

Maintain Accurate Logs:

Document hourly production rates, quality checks, scrap material, and machine downtime using computer interfaces or tracking sheets.

Routine Equipment Care:

Perform basic preventative maintenance, applying lubricants, and keeping rollers clean and debris-free.

Maintain Safety Standards:

Follow all OSHA and plant safety guidelines, maintain a clean workspace (5S rules), and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications:

Manufacturing or Machine Operation Experience:

At least 6 months of hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, industrial, or machine operation environment.

Physical Capability & Stamina:

Ability to stand and walk for an entire 8-hour shift, bend, twist, and safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

A reliable track record of attendance with the ability to arrive ready to work for a promptly
