Mobile, AL Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation High school diploma or GED Computer skills Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Main Responsibilities / Essential Functions Replace/install working linings and safety linings in tundishes. Install all tundish refractory furniture, temp probes, stopper rod, stopper rod mechanism, chop gate, SEN and gate. Assist in refractory ladle/EAF installations as needed/scheduled by the refractory team leader. Maintain a clean, organized and stocked work area. Utilize established documentation systems (logs, emails, paperwork, etc.) to communicate all relevant information to the refractory and management team. Work closely with the refractory team leader and shift coordinator to minimize down time and improve equipment reliability. Participating in improvement and organization projects. Ensure safe operation of tundishes and participate in SSAB safety programs, audits and reviews. Complete all training within designated timeframes and attend all required meetings. Understand and support the company's goals and values and adhere to company, department, safety, quality, environmental, and ethics policies and procedures. About You / Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills. Good, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills . Preferred Experience with refractories. M365 proficiency.
