1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (40 hrs/week + mandatory OT; future 2nd shift flexibility preferred)

Bill Rate:
$20.63/hr) Position Overview We are hiring Machine Operators (Winders) to support coil production in a light industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for winding electrical coils to precise specifications, operating coil winding equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production output. Key Responsibilities Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements Set up and adjust winding machines to meet product tolerances Operate coil winding equipment (bench lathes, Bachi, Broomfield, hand winders) Insert insulators, tape, splice and solder wires, and form coils using hydraulic presses Wind prototype coils, identify issues, and suggest improvements Use lift-assist equipment for materials over 50 lbs Maintain quality, efficiency, and productivity standards Support inventory activities Adhere to 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices Perform additional duties as business needs evolve Required Qualifications Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and bills of materials Basic verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and fine motor skills Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with routine distractions Physical ability to: Stand/sit for extended periods Bend, stoop, and reach as needed Lift 10 lbs frequently / up to 50 lbs occasionally (with assistance)
