Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Lumber Puller to join our dynamic sawmill team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently retrieving, handling, and hand stacking lumber and related materials to support smooth sawmill operations. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will ensure that inventory is accurately managed and shipments are fulfilled promptly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with other motivated sawmill employees and contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment where teamwork and precision are key. Duties Must be a team player Must be able to safely and efficiently lift 50lbs or more Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and adherence to sawmill safety procedures Requirements Prior experience in sawmill operations is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for lumber stacking accuracy Commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE use Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
